SQuIRE - EDU

The principles and methods to improve the quality and safety of healthcare are often applied to educational improvement. In 2016, a group convened to develop an extension to SQuIRE to meet the needs of the healthcare education community. The development followed a process involving an international advisory group to develop a draft, pilot testing of the draft, further refinement and an open comment period. The extension, SQuIRE-EDU, provides key considerations for educational improvement mapped onto the SQuIRE 2.0 guidelines.
